In heavy equipment—such as metal forging presses, construction excavators, and drilling mud circulating systems—standard piston cups often struggle to maintain their structural integrity against relentless pressure spikes and lateral shock loads. The sheer force of the hydraulic fluid frequently causes the soft sealing lips to roll, tear, or succumb to severe gap extrusion along the cylinder wall. To completely engineer this failure point out of existence, our design team developed the ZP profile. This innovative seal geometry pairs a remarkably tough, high-durometer Polyurethane base with a highly wear-resistant, fabric-reinforced sealing dynamic edge. Polyurethane was specifically chosen for its phenomenal shear strength and exceptional resistance to both abrasion and cutting forces.
